'Peep Hole' is a site-specific, immersive experience, meant to challenge the boundaries of what we know as the truth. This installation explores the idea of an individual's perspective on past historic recollections. It encourages the viewer to think about their surroundings. Using archive photographs of people and scenery relating to Berlin, the artwork helps transform the viewer's reality to an alternate space.
This installation required archived photographs, stock imagery, After Effects, a seamlessly constructed fake room to blend with the original building, 1900's German sourced door, peep hole, canvas screen and a wide-angle projector.
